We Are Tidy AF

Emily
Project Manager & Lead Organizer
Favorite part of the job: Being able to make such a tangible impact on our clients' lives. We're able to help people release stress, and emotional and mental weight that they may have been carrying for months, if not years, in just a few hours.
Something people might be surprised to learn: My random knowledge of fun facts would make me a great member of a trivia team, if I were a more competitive person.
Outside of work: Ideally I’m reading or painting, most likely I’m acting as my son's Uber driver.
My organizing philosophy: If a system is going to stick, it has to be functional for the way you actually live.

Gretchen
Associate Organizer & Inventory Manager
Favorite part of the job: I absolutely live for the final reveal. It's really an honor to watch someone's mental load lighten more and more with each room on that final walkthrough. It feels so good to be able to do that for someone else.
Something people might be surprised to learn: I'm currently learning how to sew my own clothes, and I'm also currently learning that sewing your own clothes is extremely difficult. Oh, and I do a really good Sid the Sloth voice from the Ice Age movies.
Outside of work: I’m hanging out with my kiddo and my 9 million animals while secretly listening to an audiobook.
My organizing philosophy: I say "She doesn't even go here!" (from Mean Girls) in my head about a million times a day, and it really can make a huge difference fairly quickly to just take out the things that don't belong in that specific zone.

Jenna
Associate Organizer & Community Relations
Favorite part of the job: Seeing the transformation that happens when a space begins to support the people living in it. I believe our physical spaces have the power to support or hinder how we think, feel, and function. There's nothing more rewarding than watching clients go from feeling overwhelmed and stuck to feeling relieved, reenergized, and empowered after we've worked in their space.
Something people might be surprised to learn: Before joining Tidy AF, I spent 7+ years working as a Health & Wellness Coach, helping clients create sustainable lifestyle changes. That experience continues to shape how I approach organizing, creating personalized systems that are realistic to maintain.
Outside of work: I enjoy gardening, hunting for vintage treasures, creating art, reading nonfiction, or spending time with my husband and our two dogs.
My organizing philosophy: Behind every space is a story, and I believe every story deserves to be met with dignity, compassion, and thoughtful solutions that help people move forward.

Deanna
Lead Organizer & Design Coordinator
Favorite part of the job: Seeing and feeling the weight slide off our clients' shoulders. You can feel an energy shift in them when their spaces are decluttered, functional, and clean. It's like a big deep breath, and knowing we played a part in making their life easier is so rewarding.
Something people might be surprised to learn: I absolutely love to travel and have been to over 10 international countries!
Outside of work: I'm usually traveling to visit family and friends, or spending quality time with my husband and furbabies. I'm also currently trying to learn to crochet, but it's not going very well. Ha!
My organizing philosophy: Just because a space is beautiful doesn't mean it functions well. We take the time to get to know our clients and come in to provide them with systems that work best for their specific lifestyle.

Colleen
Associate Organizer & Marketing Coordinator
Favorite part of the job: Meeting our wonderful clients, hearing their stories, and being able to provide a service that has a transformative effect on their home or workspace and improves their quality of life.
Something people might be surprised to learn: I love to sew clothing for myself and my friends, and I prioritize sourcing all of my materials secondhand.
Outside of work: You can find me having a glass of wine on my screen porch with my husband, Kyle, and our three cats.
My organizing philosophy: Figure out a designated place for every item. We're so much less likely to put something away if we aren't really sure where it should go.
